Diagnosis:  Left main coronary artery originating from the main pulmonary artery trunk

46 y/o male with shortness of breath

Discussion:

The LM has anomalous origin from the main pulmonary artery trunk (arrow). This type of anomaly is considered potentially lethal. Note that the RCA is markedly hypertrophied and is providing collateral flow (not shown).
